A flavorful chicken wrap filled with garlic parmesan chicken, crispy lettuce, and a creamy sauce, all wrapped in a soft tortilla.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken breast, boneless, cubed
  • 2 tbsp oil, for marinating
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika powder
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 0.33 cups parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • lemon juice, squeeze
  • 1 tsp parsley, freshly chopped
  • 0.5 tsp fresh garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 fresh red chili, seeded and minced
  • 1 tsp roasted garlic
  • water, splash, to thin out sauce
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, diced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 5 tortilla wraps, large
  • 0.5 cup onions, diced
  • 0.5 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 2 lb boneless chicken breast, cubed
  • 5 large tortillas wraps

Steps

  1. 1In a bowl, add cubed chicken breast, 2 tbsp oil, salt, smoked paprika powder, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, lemon juice, red chili flakes, and parsley. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated.
  2. 2Cover and let the chicken marinate for 20-30 minutes.
  3. 3Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. 4Add the chicken in a single layer, and include minced fresh garlic. Cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through.
  5. 5Remove from heat and toss the chicken with 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese and 1 tsp freshly chopped parsley.
  6. 6In a bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, minced fresh red chili, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, 1 tsp roasted garlic, smoked paprika powder, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  7. 7Drizzle in a little oil and add a splash of water, mixing until the sauce is smooth.
  8. 8Stir in finely chopped parsley and adjust seasoning to taste.
  9. 9In a separate bowl, combine diced romaine lettuce, 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 1-2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt, pepper, and 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Toss until evenly coated.
  10. 10Spread a generous layer of garlic Parmesan sauce over each tortilla wrap.
  11. 11Add the cooked chicken, dressed salad, diced tomatoes, and diced onions to each tortilla. If desired, add more sauce.
  12. 12Roll each tortilla tightly into wraps. Serve immediately, or toast the wraps in a pan seam side down for extra crispness.
