Ingredients

  • 200 g chow mein noodles, cooked
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 100 g cabbage, shredded
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 200 g chicken breast, boneless, sliced (optional)
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped (optional)
  • pepper, to taste
  • salt, to taste

Steps

  1. 1Cook chow mein noodles according to the package instructions and set aside.
  2. 2In a large pan over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil. Once hot, add sliced chicken breast and cook until browned.
  3. 3Add minced garlic, sliced onion, bell pepper, carrot, and shredded cabbage to the pan. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are soft.
  4. 4Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to the pan. Mix well to coat the vegetables and chicken.
  5. 5Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the pan and toss everything together to combine.
  6. 6Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in chopped green onions before serving.
