Ingredients
- 1 big brinjal, sliced into circles
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 2 tbsp green chili paste
- 1 tsp haldi
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 4 tsp red chilli powder
- salt, to taste
- 2 tsp besan
- 200 gms thick dahi
- 1 tsp sugar
- 30 gms fried onions
- 1 handful coriander, freshly chopped
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 0.5 tsp haldi for dahi mix
- 1 tsp coriander powder for dahi mix
- 2 tsp red chili powder for dahi mix
Steps
- 1Slice the brinjal into circles.
- 2In a bowl, mix ginger paste, garlic paste, green chili paste, haldi, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, and besan.
- 3Coat the brinjal slices with the mixture on both sides.
- 4Fry the coated brinjal slices on a medium-high flame until they are crispy.
- 5In a separate bowl, mix thick dahi with haldi, coriander powder, red chili powder, and sugar.
- 6Pour the dahi mixture over the fried brinjal slices in a pan.
- 7Add fried onions and freshly chopped coriander on top.
- 8Simmer on a slow flame until everything is heated through.
