Ingredients

  • 4 pita bread
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Steps

  1. 1Mix ground beef with chopped onion, parsley, tomato paste, minced garlic, allspice, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined
  2. 2Cut pita breads in half to create pockets
  3. 3Stuff each pita pocket with the meat mixture, pressing gently to distribute evenly
  4. 4Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  5. 5Cook stuffed pitas for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy
  6. 6Remove from heat and let cool for 2 minutes before serving
