Quick Arayes (Stuffed Pita)

Ingredients
- 4 pita bread
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 0.25 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp allspice
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Steps
- 1Mix ground beef with chopped onion, parsley, tomato paste, minced garlic, allspice, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined
- 2Cut pita breads in half to create pockets
- 3Stuff each pita pocket with the meat mixture, pressing gently to distribute evenly
- 4Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
- 5Cook stuffed pitas for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy
- 6Remove from heat and let cool for 2 minutes before serving
